Welcome to the programming club, where you will be forced against your will to code fun games for me and my pleasure!
Actually no, that’s false, but what is true is that you will have to get used to weekly projects that will have you programming different chunks of a game which will help you improve your overall programming ability by having you do everything you would normally hate to do. BUT THAT’S GOOD, considering that you are all beginners this will help you improve your overall ability and make you more rounded. Here you will not only learn how to be a better programmer by solving more complex algorithms than that of our standard programming classes, but you will also have a strict team of people to cooperate with; this was just about the most important aspect I found about this club.
With a group of people having the same interest and same goal as you, you will be able to work together to solve complex problems and improve your ‘teamworking ability’; this ability is most sought after by employers so it will give you a head start yadayadayada….
I’m sorry to say that if you came here because you wanted to have fun making cool awesome games then you came to the wrong place; here you will be given uber long messages and emails to read and fulfill by yours truly. Actually, again, I’m lying; you will have fun trust me. Meetings every Friday in room F100 (Spratt’s room), you are welcome to drop by and see what we do!
